Quick Paneer Ghee Roast
I prepared this dish from left-over red chutney, which I'd prepared for masala dosa. Had homemade paneer lying in the refrigerator. So thought why not I try ghee roast with these ingredients.. n finally I tried. Ghee roast was finger-licking good :D

Quick Paneer Ghee Roast

A spicy paneer dish prepared using spicy red chutney and roasted in ghee
Ingredients:
- Paneer (small cubes) - 1 cup
- Curd - 1 Tbsp
- Jeera powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Pepper powder - ¼ tsp
- Ghee - 1 Tbsp
- Coriander leaves - for garnishing
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp
For Red chutney :
- Byadgi Red Chilles, (soaked in hot water) - 10
- Tamarind - small amla size
- Garlic pods - 4
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Grind the ingredients under Red chutney to a fine and smooth paste.
- Take this chutney in a bowl. Add paneer, curd, Jeera powder, Coriander powder and pepper powder. Mix well and keep it aside for 15-20 mins. (Check salt and add if required)
- Take a thick-bottomed pan and heat ghee in it. Once the ghee is heated, add marinated paneer and fry until the raw smell goes out and the paneer turns golden brown.
- Once done, serve it in a bowl, squeeze lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.. :)
